Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and oil changes on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively with both power and hand tools in a fast-paced environment. Duties Perform oil changes and lubrication services on vehicles, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to identify potential issues or necessary repairs. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete maintenance tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including proper disposal of used oil and filters. Assist in automotive diagnostics to troubleshoot mechanical problems as needed. Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding vehicle service needs. Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and other physically demanding tasks. Experience Previous experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is preferred. Familiarity with automotive repair processes and procedures is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge, including the ability to operate various power tools and hand tools safely. Experience in performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Ability to lift heavy objects as required for vehicle service tasks.
