Dowdy's Automotive in Star is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our growing team. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience The ability to perform maintenance services and common repairs independently Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Personal tools and tool storage sufficient to perform assigned work A valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable transportation and consistent attendance A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset A strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship ASE certifications preferred but not required Responsibilities Perform vehicle inspections and routine maintenance services Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems Perform brake, suspension, steering, and drivability repairs Accurately identify vehicle concerns and recommend needed repairs Maintain quality workmanship and attention to detail Complete repair orders and inspections thoroughly Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow company procedures and quality standards Compensation Pay is based on both professional experience and demonstrated skill level. We recognize that years in the industry are important, but so are technical abilities and productivity.
