Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in engine repair, automotive diagnostics, and mechanical knowledge. Responsibilities
ASE certification a plus
Knowledge of Mitchell a plus
Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles
Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts
Utilize automotive diagnostic equipment to accurately diagnose vehicle problems
Complete repairs efficiently and accurately following dealership standards
Stay updated on new technologies and automotive repair techniques
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar
Previous dealership experience a plus
Ability to use a variety of power tools and equipment safely
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques to execute repairs efficiently. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex problems on various vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles. Ensure all repairs meet dealership or industry standards for quality and safety while maintaining detailed service records. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering maintenance advice to clients.
