Responsibilities Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Repair and replace automotive parts utilizing hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques. Diagnose and repair diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles, including air brake systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to facilitate precise repairs on complex mechanical and electrical systems. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the quality of work performed. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership or independent shop settings. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics tools. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, transmission repair, auto body repair, and auto estimating is highly desirable. Familiarity with automotive suspension system repair, wheel alignment procedures, shocks & struts replacement, and brake repair. Ability to operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical repair machinery safely and effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance routines including oil changes and powertrain servicing. Dealership experience or familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus but not required. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and repair tasks.
