In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure our customers' vehicles operate safely and reliably, contributing to their overall satisfaction and trust. The ideal candidate is passionate about automotive technology, possesses strong mechanical skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where quality work is valued. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including engines, electrical systems, and transmissions. Repair and overhaul internal combustion engines, including diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately troubleshoot electrical problems. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and suspension work with attention to detail. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques safely to disassemble and reassemble vehicle components. Diagnose and repair advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to enhance vehicle safety features. Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics for complex repairs on various makes and models, including GM vehicles if applicable. Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers or team members. Experience Proven mechanic experience with dealership or automotive repair shop backgrounds preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive engine technology, powertrain systems, and vehicle electrical systems. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and interpreting wiring diagrams. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques, manual handling safety procedures, and the use of mechanical repair equipment. Experience working on standard passenger cars as well as heavy-duty vehicles or trucks is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Knowledge of automotive body repair or alignment procedures is advantageous but not essential.
