Today, with the addition of the Jiffy Lube Multicare division, many locations also offer almost every common repair service, from tune-ups, suspension & brake jobs to tires, wheel alignments & more. Qualifications The Alignment Technician position requires a minimum of 2 years experience in the automotive service & repair industry. Automotive training programs can be considered part of this time requirement, if the course was completed. ASE certifications are a plus. Hunter alignment certifications are a plus. Responsibilities As an alignment Technician, you will work in a fast-paced service environment & will be responsible for inspecting, servicing & repairing our guest's vehicles while ensuring the quality of workmanship performed. Alignment technicians will perform vehicle full vehicle alignments, alignment checks, as well as vehicle suspension repair, in addition to JiffyLube signiture services. Duties Include but are not limited to: Diagnostic testing, tune-ups, brake services, suspension repair & wheel alignments, tire repair & replacement. In addition, the repair technician will help service technicians perform inspections while changing oil & performing other preventative maintenance services. All employees are required to complete the training courses through Jiffy Lube University® for safety, service procedures, & ongoing development. All staff members are also responsible for keeping tools organized & the shop clean, safe & presentable. Requirements Previous shop experience required (minimum 2 years) ASE Certification Preferred Hunter Alignment Certification Preferred Be able to work in a fast-paced environment & multi-task Be able to operate fluid exchange equipment (transmission, coolant, brake) & other specialized equipment & hand tools Have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, & be a motivated team player Must be able to lift & move work-related items up to 50 pounds Must be able to push, pull, lift, & bend at the knees & waist Have a valid drivers license & authorized to work in the U.S. Available to work a min. 40 hour work week with open availability (includes weekends) Compensation Competitive starting pay with advancement opportunities State of the art training & certification program recognized by the ASE Book time bonus for repair work completed Flexible scheduling, personal & family discounts, great team setting
