In this energetic role, you will expertly communicate vehicle issues, recommend necessary repairs, and ensure a seamless service experience. Your mechanical knowledge and customer service skills will drive customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships. Duties Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns Write detailed service estimates using automotive estimating software, including parts and labor costs Communicate repair recommendations clearly, upselling additional services when appropriate to enhance vehicle safety and performance Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, tire services, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repairs Manage customer vehicle flow through the service department while maintaining high levels of client communication and satisfaction Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely Maintain thorough records of all service orders, estimates, and client interactions for transparency and accountability Skills Proven experience in auto service writing or as a service advisor in a dealership or independent shop setting Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance practices Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to clients Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and trust Experience in automotive repair areas such as transmissions, oil changes, alignments, suspension systems, tire services, shocks & struts, brake repair, collision repair, and oil changes Knowledge of auto estimating processes combined with dealership experience preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to facilitate test drives if needed Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering top-tier automotive care!
