Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Light Duty Technician, where your mechanical skills and passion for vehicle maintenance will keep our fleet running smoothly and safely. In this energetic role, you will perform essential light repair and maintenance tasks on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety standards and operate at peak performance. Your hands-on expertise will contribute to a well-organized workshop environment, supporting the overall efficiency of our operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your automotive repair skills while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Duties Conduct routine inspections and basic repairs on light-duty vehicles, including brake checks, fluid replacements, and tire rotations Use hand tools and power tools to perform vehicle maintenance tasks accurately and efficiently Assist with auto body repairs such as minor dent removal and panel adjustments to maintain vehicle appearance and integrity Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move parts or equipment safely within the workshop Support auto restoration projects by preparing vehicles for service or sale, ensuring all work meets quality standards Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for each vehicle Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot common vehicle issues Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment Experience with vehicle maintenance, repair, and auto body work is highly desirable Ability to lift heavy components safely and handle physical demands of the role Knowledge of auto restoration techniques and mechanic experience is a plus Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and report on work progress This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their automotive repair expertise in a lively environment. Pay:
$16.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
