Job Description
Job Overview We are looking for a Mechanic. Not a technician that just knows how to swap parts. We need someone that actually knows their way around a vehicle. We work on a wide variety of vehicles, most makes and models, old and new. We need someone that is comfortable working by themselves, but also has a good overall attitude working with other people. Duties Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to maintain optimal vehicle health. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and your brain to complete repairs efficiently. Be organized enough to properly record job activity and parts used. Experience Proven experience or extensive background in automotive repair industry preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing engines, transmissions, auto body repairs, and auto estimating. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, suspension systems repair (including shocks & struts), brake repair, wheel alignment, and auto body work. Knowledge of heavy equipment mechanics or diesel mechanics is advantageous. Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately; experience with automotive diagnostics tools is essential. Prior experience working in a fast-paced automotive repair environment demonstrating excellent mechanical skills and customer service orientation.
