Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor/Writer to join our fast-paced automotive service team. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between our customers and our skilled technicians, ensuring a seamless experience from vehicle drop-off to pick-up. Your energetic approach and mechanical knowledge will help you confidently assess vehicle needs, communicate repairs clearly, and maximize customer satisfaction and shop productivity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to blend automotive expertise with exceptional customer service. Duties Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs. Explain recommended repairs and maintenance services clearly, ensuring customers understand their options. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services. Manage cash handling processes accurately while maintaining transparency with customers regarding costs. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships. Maintain thorough records of all service transactions and communicate effectively with the team regarding vehicle status updates. Qualifications Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues in an understandable manner. Proficiency in working with computers Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Mechanical experience or mechanic background is a plus for better understanding of technician workflows and diagnostics, but not necessary.
