Overview Join our dynamic automotive team at Lodge Tire in Greenfield, MA as an Automotive Technician, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. In this energetic role, you'll diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of vehicle systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our valued customers. Your mechanical knowledge, technical proficiency, and passion for automotive service will contribute to a fast-paced environment focused on quality and customer satisfaction. This paid position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge diagnostic tools and develop your skills across various vehicle platforms. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across vehicle electrical systems, powertrains, transmissions, suspension systems, and more Conduct repairs and maintenance on diverse vehicle systems, including engine repairs (gasoline and diesel), transmission system repairs, wheel alignments, and suspension system repairs Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems efficiently Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs with precision Service vehicles according to manufacturer specifications, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality benchmarks Assist in auto estimating processes by accurately assessing repair needs and communicating findings clearly to customers or service advisors Maintain detailed records of all work performed and ensure vehicles are returned in optimal condition Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair for a minimum of 3 years. Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical systems Hands-on experience with powertrain components, vehicle transmission system repair, diesel engine repair, and vehicle suspension system repair Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and the use of automotive diagnostic tools Mechanical aptitude complemented by proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately for complex repairs Join us at Lodge Tire as an Automotive Technician where your technical skills meet your passion for cars!
