Ground Logistics is seeking an experienced Mechanic to maintain the safety, reliability, and performance of our light and medium-duty fleet in Maryland and surrounding states. As a FedEx contractor operating over 200 step vans, box trucks, and delivery vans across, this role is critical to minimizing downtime and ensuring our vehicles remain road-ready.

Schedule:

Full-time What You'll Be Doing:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain a fleet of light and medium duty vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and AC Perform preventive maintenance programs (PMs) Conduct DOT inspections and ensure all vehicles meet federal, state, and local safety and compliance regulations Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic software and testing equipment Travel to different locations for emergency repairs as needed, often outside normal business hours

Requirements:

2+ years of experience as mechanic Working knowledge of automotive tools and repair techniques Proficiency with diagnostic tools and vehicle safety standards Willingness to undergo a background check
