Auto Repair Technician — Employee-Owned Shop Eastern Tire & Auto Service |

Rockland & Rockport, ME Pay:

$25-35/hr, based on experience

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM — no nights, no weekends Join Eastern Tire & Auto Service as an employee-owner from day one. What you'll do: Diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, engine performance, electrical, HVAC, basic transmission/drivetrain, and exhaust systems Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, filter replacements Use scan tools, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment to find root causes Document repairs and communicate with service advisors on recommendations and timelines Complete State Inspections What you need: 3-5 years of experience as an auto technician in a professional shop State of Maine Inspection License or ability to obtain within three months of being hired Strong diagnostic skills and ability to read wiring diagrams Own a basic tool set Valid driver's license, clean driving record
