Job Description

Job Summary Join our team as a Vehicle Service Technician where your mechanical skills, attention to detail, and customer service skills will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our customers. In this role, you will perform a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair tasks. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will contribute directly to our reputation for quality and excellence. Responsibilities Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, new tire installations and fluid replacements to keep vehicles running smoothly. Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and determine the necessary repairs or adjustments. Perform automotive repairs such as brake service, suspension work, engine repairs, and other mechanical repairs with precision. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs efficiently. Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify potential problems and recommend additional services or maintenance needs. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven dealership or mechanic experience : 1 - 3 years experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with automotive fluid replacement, oil changes, alignments, tire service, and general vehicle maintenance. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment essential for automotive service work. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude and clear communication abilities. Knowledge of automotive systems is highly desirable. State of Michigan Mechanic's license required.
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
