Job Description

Jeremy's Automotive JR is looking for a dependable, hardworking Lube Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on vehicles, takes pride in doing quality work, and wants to grow their skills in the automotive industry. Job Responsibilities Perform oil and filter changes on cars, trucks, SUVs, and light-duty vehicles Check and top off vehicle fluids as needed Inspect tires and check/adjust tire pressure Perform tire rotations Inspect brakes, belts, hoses, filters, lights, wipers, and other basic vehicle components Assist with basic vehicle safety inspections Lubricate vehicle components when required Identify obvious maintenance or repair concerns and communicate them to technicians or service advisors Maintain accurate records of services performed Keep the work area, tools, and shop clean and organized Properly dispose of used oil, filters, and other automotive materials Assist technicians with basic repairs and shop duties as needed Follow all shop procedures and safety requirements Qualifications Previous automotive or lube technician experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance is helpful Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic Ability to follow directions and work efficiently Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive shop Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, standing, reaching, and working underneath vehicles Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is reliable, motivated, and willing to learn.
