Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Automatic & Manual Transmission Rebuilder / General Mechanic to join our dynamic automotive team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding both automatic and manual transmissions, as well as performing comprehensive mechanical repairs on a variety of vehicle systems. Duties Rebuild and repair automatic and manual transmissions, ensuring all components meet quality standards Diagnose complex vehicle issues using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics Perform engine repairs, including diesel engine repair and automotive engine system diagnostics Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as wheel alignments, electrical system troubleshooting, and wiring diagram interpretation Use power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to complete repairs efficiently Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to identify electrical faults within vehicle systems Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience with a focus on transmission rebuilding and general automotive repair Strong knowledge of automotive engine technology, powertrain components, and vehicle systems Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology and automotive diagnostics tools Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret automotive wiring diagrams Mechanical knowledge of auto body repair, welding, alignment, and heavy lifting techniques Skilled in the use of power tools, hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and automotive electrical systems Excellent manual handling skills with a focus on safety and precision in mechanical repair tasks Customer service-oriented mindset with clear communication skills to explain technical issues effectively Join us to be part of a team dedicated to excellence in automotive repair!
