Royal Oak Ford is hiring experienced A-Level Automotive Technicians / Mechanics to join our service team. RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Automotive Technician at Royal Oak Ford, you will: Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards Diagnose, maintain and repair automotive systems Perform drivability and powertrain diagnosis and repairs Diagnose and repair electrical systems Service steering and suspension systems Perform brake repairs Diagnose and repair heating and air-conditioning systems Perform alignments and other mechanical repairs Test-drive vehicles as necessary Use diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to ensure safety and performance standards are met Accurately document completed repairs and recommended services

QUALIFICATIONS

We're looking for technicians who have: Michigan State Automotive Technician Certification Proven experience as an Automotive Technician / Mechanic Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics Basic computer skills Valid driver's license Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities Attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team ASE Certification is a plus, but not required. Ford experience is a plus, but qualified technicians from other manufacturers and independent repair facilities are encouraged to apply.
