Job Description

Job Overview Busy Ford dealership seeking a skilled experienced Ford Class A Drivability Engine Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain complex engine systems and drivability issues on Ford vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly and reliably. Monday-Friday shop (no Saturdays), paid holidays off, paid vacation time yearly, weekly bonus for achieving higher amounts of repair hours per week, health care, matching 401k program, life insurance, yearly income based on work experience, on state of Michigan license and Ford certifications. Responsibilities Perform detailed diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify engine and drivability issues. Repair or replace powertrain components, and mechanical systems with precision. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software to execute repairs efficiently. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical repair. Extensive knowledge powertrain systems, and automotive electrical systems. Proficiency in reading schematics and using diagnostic tools for automotive electrical troubleshooting. Strong mechanical knowledge Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools safely and effectively. Pay:
$90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
