We are looking for an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Oakdale, MN. Job Summary As an Automotive Mechanic, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of vehicles while delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality workmanship. This position offers the opportunity to work on everything from routine maintenance to complex diagnostic repairs in a professional, fast-paced environment. Your expertise will help ensure our customers receive the dependable service they have come to expect from Myron's Service Center. Responsibilities Diagnose automotive issues using advanced diagnostic equipment, electrical systems, and technical schematics. Perform repairs on engines, drivetrains, and other mechanical systems. Complete suspension repairs including shocks, struts, steering components, and wheel alignments. Perform brake repairs, tire services, oil changes, tire rotations, and preventative maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair automotive electrical systems and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Work on a variety of makes and models, including domestic vehicles such as GM products. Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and other shop equipment safely and effectively. Interpret repair manuals, service information, and technical documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment. Communicate repair recommendations clearly and professionally with customers and team members. Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and company quality expectations. Qualifications Previous professional experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic. Strong diagnostic skills and experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems. Knowledge of engines, transmissions, powertrain systems, brakes, suspension, and steering components. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals. Experience with computerized diagnostics and modern vehicle systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to efficiently use automotive hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. Experience with diesel engines, heavy equipment, welding, ADAS calibration, or auto estimating is a plus. Commitment to quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
