As a Mechanic at ReCar, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the quality and reliability of our diverse inventory. We are looking for a dynamic individual who shares our commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and customer-centric experience.
Technical Expertise:
Utilize extensive auto mechanic knowledge to address complex repairs on a variety of vehicles. Stay up to date on the latest automotive technologies and implement them in service processes.
Quality Assurance:
Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure all vehicles meet or exceed ReCar's high standards. Proactively identify potential issues and recommend preventive maintenance measures. Collaboration with
Sales Team:
Work closely with the sales team to provide insights into vehicle conditions and contribute to a seamless buying process. Ensure all vehicles meet ReCar's quality standards before being showcased to customers.
New Inventory Inspection:
Conduct thorough inspections of new inventory vehicles upon arrival. Collaborate with the sales team to address any issues identified during inspections.
Resolution of Current Inventory Issues:
Regularly assess the condition of vehicles in the current inventory. Work closely with the sales team to address and resolve any mechanical issues or concerns raised by customers.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement in the inspection and resolution workflows. Implement measures to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the automotive service department.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of inspections, identified issues, and resolutions for both new and current inventory. Provide regular reports to management on the status of inventory inspections and ongoing resolutions.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an auto mechanic. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both customers and internal teams. Certification from a recognized automotive training program. (Preferred) Up-to-date knowledge of the latest automotive technologies. Valid driver's license.
