Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Mechanic and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and service various mechanical systems including engines (diesel and gasoline), transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to troubleshoot complex automotive problems effectively. Work with dealership-specific protocols on auto estimating, auto body repair coordination, and customer service to ensure quality workmanship. Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers or team members for transparency and trust. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical repairs. Extensive knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto electrical systems, and auto body repair techniques. Skilled in diesel engine repair, transmission overhaul, suspension system repair, brake systems including air brakes, and wheel alignment procedures. Familiarity with schematics reading for mechanical systems repair and troubleshooting complex vehicle issues. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; knowledge of heavy equipment mechanics is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally.
