Job Description Chevrolet of Meridian is seeking an experienced Transmission Technician to join our professional service team. We are looking for a skilled technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and delivering excellent service to our customers. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and rebuild automatic and manual transmissions Perform transmission-related services and repairs on Chevrolet and other makes/models Accurately diagnose drivability and transmission concerns using diagnostic tools and equipment Complete work orders thoroughly and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety and dealership procedures Provide outstanding customer service and clear communication with service advisors Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a transmission technician (required) Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills with transmissions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred ASE Certification preferred but not required Willingness to continue learning and stay current with new vehicle technologies Compensation Pay based on experience Average earnings range from $40,000 - $80,000 per year , depending on skill level, productivity, and experience.
