Coastal Automotive is hiring an experienced B-level technician who can independently handle general mechanical repairs and contribute immediately. This is a permanent, full-time addition to our team. Compensation Your starting rate will be based on demonstrated skill, experience, certifications, and production ability.

Base rate:

What You'll Do Perform maintenance and general mechanical repairs accurately and efficiently Complete brake, steering, suspension, cooling-system, starting, charging, and other common repairs Perform complex mechanical work such as timing components and head-gasket repairs based on demonstrated ability Diagnose basic electrical and mechanical problems Complete thorough digital vehicle inspections Clearly document the condition, cause, and recommended correction Communicate parts and repair needs promptly Follow established workflow and quality-control standards Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area You May Be a Good Fit If You Have professional automotive repair experience Can perform most general mechanical repairs independently Understand how vehicle systems work—not simply how to replace parts Have basic electrical and diagnostic ability Produce accurate, quality work consistently Take pride in thorough vehicle inspections Own the professional tools needed to perform your work Have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record Are dependable, coachable, and willing to contribute to the team At least one ASE certification is preferred. ASE A4 and A5 certifications are strongly preferred for consideration at the top of the compensation range.
