Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service requests. Explain repair procedures, estimate costs using estimating software, and recommend necessary services to enhance vehicle performance and safety. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services. Explain additional maintenance or repair services by highlighting benefits aligned with customer needs. Manage service write-ups, prepare detailed repair orders, and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate. Communicate effectively with clients regarding vehicle status, repair options, and cost estimates while providing exceptional customer service. Handle cash transactions, process payments securely, and maintain accurate financial records related to service sales. Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar auto service management role within a dealership environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, transmissions, suspension systems, brake repair, tire service, shocks & struts, oil changes, and collision repair processes. Experience using estimating software and computer-aided vehicle estimating tools. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally. Demonstrated ability in explaining services while maintaining integrity and customer trust. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; prior experience in auto sales or auto service writing is preferred. Knowledge of automotive repair procedures combined with customer service expertise to deliver a seamless experience from start to finish.
