Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Service Advisor, where your enthusiasm for vehicles and exceptional customer service skills will drive success! In this pivotal role, you will serve as the vital link between our customers and our skilled technicians, ensuring a seamless experience from vehicle drop-off to pickup. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and sales will help customers understand their vehicle needs while guiding them through service options. This position offers an energetic environment where you can thrive by delivering top-tier service, upselling maintenance and repair services, and fostering lasting customer relationships. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and professionally, establishing trust and confidence in their vehicle service experience Accurately assess vehicle issues through effective communication with customers and technicians Write detailed service estimates using computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools and ensure clear explanation of recommended repairs Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission services to maximize customer value Coordinate with mechanics and service technicians to prioritize repairs, schedule appointments, and ensure timely completion of work Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper documentation of all service orders and payments Maintain comprehensive records of vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and customer interactions to support ongoing service quality Requirements Proven experience in auto service management or as a Service Technician with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes Demonstrated ability in auto estimating, upselling, and customer service within a dealership or repair shop environment Mechanical knowledge across various systems including transmissions, diesel engines, air brakes, shocks & struts, wheel alignments, suspension systems, tire services, and auto body repairs Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and computer-aided estimating software is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical issues to customers in an engaging manner Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to drive various vehicles confidently Experience in collision repair or auto body work is a plus but not required Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional automotive service! $38,500.00 - $55,000.00 per year
