Job Description
Duties:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake system failures
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements
- Use specialized diagnostic equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle problems
- Perform automotive repairs according to manufacturer specifications and dealership guidelines
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions about vehicle repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
Experience:
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic is required
- Strong knowledge of GM vehicles is preferred
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required
- Experience in auto body repair and welding is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
