This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of vehicle systems, including diesel engines, powertrains, and advanced automotive electrical systems. As a key member of our service department, you will lead complex repairs, interpret schematics, and utilize cutting-edge diagnostic tools to ensure our customers' vehicles perform at their best. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize automotive diagnostic tools and interpret wiring diagrams to accurately identify issues and implement effective solutions. Conduct engine repairs on both gasoline and diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and driveline systems. Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical repair equipment to execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Interpret automotive schematics and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot electrical issues across diverse vehicle models, including GM vehicles. Perform wheel alignments and vehicle maintenance tasks with precision to ensure safety and customer satisfaction. Assist in heavy lifting and manual handling tasks required during vehicle repairs or parts replacement. Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair with a focus on passenger cars and light trucks. Strong knowledge of automotive engine technology, electrical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostic tools and electronic testing equipment. Familiarity with ADAS calibration procedures and the interpretation of automotive wiring diagrams. Mechanical repair experience involving diesel engines, powertrains, and complex vehicle systems. Ability to read schematics accurately and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively across various vehicle makes—especially GM vehicles is preferred. Demonstrated customer service skills with a proactive approach to addressing client needs. Physical ability for heavy lifting, manual handling, and working in various positions for extended periods.
