Mechanic GA Productions LLC Lodi, NJ Job Details Full-time $30 - $32 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications PLC-based control system operation Mechanical blueprint interpretation Mechanical assembly Blueprint specification interpretation Electronic systems troubleshooting Electrical schematic reading and interpretation Industrial motor maintenance and repair Industrial equipment troubleshooting Manufacturing facility experience Electrical motors Pneumatic systems NFPA 70 compliance Electrical control system maintenance AC/DC drives PLC networking Industrial power systems Hydraulics Mechanical troubleshooting Electrical fault repair Full Job Description Essential Job Functions Troubleshoot, maintain and repair PLC controlled, high-speed production equipment, such as packaging line equipment Maintain variable speed drives and plant production equipment Maintain electrical power distribution equipment of 480 volts or greater Disassembling, repairing, and reassembling mechanical equipment Interpreting blueprints, schematics, data trending and equipment manuals Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) to maintain equipment reliability and up-time Comply with all safety standards and regulations Document and track all corrective and preventive maintenance performed Adhere to all housekeeping/sanitation standards in and around work area Food and Beverage manufacturing
Necessary Skills, Experience & Requirements:
Prior industrial electrical experience required Production/manufacturing environment preferred Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems Ability to read and interpret machine manuals/schematics, electrical blueprints/schematics and process control diagrams Knowledge/experience with electrical equipment and control systems. PLC Troubleshooting and/or Programming experience Ability to troubleshoot and maintain single phase and three phase power systems, including motor starters and variable frequency drives Ability to troubleshoot and maintain electrical controls including sensors, PLC I/O and networks Knowledge of National Electrical Code Knowledge and/or exposure to instrumentation and process systems, a plus Must be able to work a 40 hour work week plus weekend overtime when required Ability to perform general industrial maintenance activities.
