In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, keeping their vehicles in top condition. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics passionate about automotive repair and eager to work with diverse vehicle systems. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct diesel engine repairs and service heavy equipment mechanics tasks as needed. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools efficiently to complete repairs. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to troubleshoot complex automotive problems effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Extensive knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), automotive electrical systems, and mechanical repair techniques. Skilled in transmission repair, automotive suspension system repair, brake repair, and wheel alignment procedures. Familiarity with diesel mechanics, oil change procedures, vehicle maintenance routines, and heavy equipment mechanics. Ability to work with schematics for complex mechanical systems and perform automotive electrical troubleshooting. Experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
