Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance of mostly rare, vintage, and exotic cars. In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles operate safely and efficiently. This paid position offers a vibrant work environment where your mechanical skills will make a real impact every day. Duties Identify mechanical and electronic issues. Perform repairs on a wide range of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components specializing in Porsche, Mercedes, Jaguar, and many more. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards and high quality of vehicles. Repair and replace automotive parts using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques. Work on specialized systems like air brakes, and auto body repairs to meet dealership standards and customized builds. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to ensure precise repairs on early Porsches, Mercedes, TR6s, or other makes. Requirements Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in mechanical systems repair. Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory; however, familiarity with automotive diagnostics and schematics is essential. Knowledge of mechanical theory, and auto electrical systems is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service machinery. Ability to perform complex repairs including transmissions, powertrain components, suspension systems, brake systems, and wheel alignments. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid certification or licensing related to automotive repair; ASE certification is a plus. •Ability to listen thoroughly, ask questions, and take instruction for complex or foreign projects is a MUST.•Ability to work carefully around pristine vehicles is a MUST.
