Job Description
Automotive Maintenance Technician Mazda of West Ridge is seeking a motivated and dependable Automotive Maintenance Technician to join our service team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to build or advance a career in automotive service. Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and brake inspections. Inspect vehicles and identify maintenance or repair needs. Perform basic automotive repairs according to manufacturer specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Use shop equipment and tools safely and properly. Communicate vehicle condition and recommended services to service advisors. Follow Mazda service procedures and dealership safety standards. Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Qualifications Previous automotive maintenance or repair experience preferred. Automotive training or education is a plus. Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures. Valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and develop additional automotive skills. Compensation & Benefits $20-$26 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
