Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Mobile Audio Visual Technician equipped with a pick-up truck or van to join our dynamic team. This role involves traveling to various event locations to install, troubleshoot, operate, and maintain audiovisual systems for outdoor movie screenings and live events. Responsibilities Transport AV equipment safely using your own pick-up truck or van to multiple event sites. Install audiovisual systems including projectors, screens, sound systems, video conferencing setups, and control systems according to schematics and blueprints. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on AV equipment, ensuring optimal performance during events. Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to accurately set up and troubleshoot complex AV systems. Operate digital signal processing devices, audio systems, video conferencing tools, and control systems during live events. Conduct cabling, electrical wiring, and mechanical assembly as required for system installation. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and ensuring their AV needs are met seamlessly. Experience Proven experience working in the audiovisual industry with hands-on field service skills. Knowledge of low voltage electrical wiring, telecommunication systems, and electrical schematic reading. Familiarity with AV system troubleshooting including software issues and hardware failures. Experience with implementing audio systems for live events or permanent installations. Ability to read blueprints and schematics related to AV system installation projects. Skilled in using hand tools, voltmeters, and other electrical/mechanical testing devices. Strong understanding of digital signal processing, control system programming (AV control units), and video conferencing operation. Pay:
