Experienced Automotive Technician Wanted North Olmsted, OH We're a busy, well-established independent auto repair shop looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. Why Techs Like Working Here Hourly pay (not flat rate) based on skill level Bonus based on labor hours Top pay for top techs - pay is open for discussion Closed weekends Paid holidays & paid PTO Multiple paid days off throughout the year to create 4-day weekends 100% employer-paid healthcare for the employee 3% retirement contribution starting Day 1 Modern, top-of-the-line equipment (scanners, alignment rack, tire balancers, shop tools) Owner who respects techs — we know our niche and aren't afraid to pass on jobs that don't make sense What You'll Do Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of makes and models Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using modern diagnostic tools Complete thorough vehicle inspections and recommend needed repairs Communicate findings clearly with service advisors Accurately document work performed and assist with estimates Maintain a clean, organized work area Stay current with automotive technology through ongoing training What We're Looking For Proven experience as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic (independent shop or dealership) Strong diagnostic and repair skills Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and power train components Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and team-focused Must have and maintain common automotive tools Valid driver's license required (ASEs or additional certifications are a plus)
