Job Description
Electrical Technician - Trailer Interiors Build Something You're Proud Of. Sundowner Trailers has been building premium aluminum trailers for nearly 50 years. We're looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to install and troubleshoot electrical systems in our custom trailer interiors. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and like solving problems, we'd love to meet you. Every trailer is built with care, and your work will play a key role in delivering a finished product our customers rely on. What You'll Do Install complete electrical systems in premium aluminum trailers Route, secure, and organize wiring to meet high quality standards Install lights, outlets, switches, breakers, converters, and other electrical components Read wiring diagrams and follow build specifications Test electrical systems and troubleshoot issues before trailers leave production Work closely with our interiors and production teams to ensure every trailer is built right Help improve quality and efficiency within the electrical installation process What We're Looking For 2+ years of electrical wiring or electrical installation experience Ability to read wiring diagrams or blueprints Experience using electrical testing equipment such as a multimeter Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and commitment to quality Dependable with a strong work ethic Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is a plus: RV or trailer electrical systems Marine electrical Automotive or vehicle upfitting Industrial or manufacturing electrical assembly 12V DC and/or 120V AC electrical systems Battery systems, converters, inverters, or shore power Why Sundowner?
