Job Purpose:

The Service Technician at Vance Group is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to ensure they operate at optimal performance. This role involves a high level of technical expertise and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose vehicle issues by inspecting mechanical and electronic components. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations. Perform complex repairs on various vehicle systems to restore functionality. Replace worn or damaged parts to maintain vehicle safety and performance. Utilize diagnostic tools and hand tools to accurately identify and resolve issues. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards to guarantee customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with customers to explain vehicle issues and repair solutions. Keep detailed records of all work performed and parts used. Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in automotive technology preferred.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance. Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electronic components of vehicles. Experience in conducting routine maintenance and performing complex repairs.

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and hand tools for vehicle maintenance and repair. Strong ability to perform oil changes and replace worn parts efficiently.
