Key Responsibilities Maintain high quality and productivity standards per requirementsUnderstand and adhere to prescribed safety proceduresMust have excellent attendance and safety recordEffectively communicate verbally and in writingTrouble shoot, diagnose, and repair gasoline and diesel engines, drive train components, electrical systems, and fluid and power systemsFabrication and weldPerforms scheduled and unscheduled maintenanceIdentifies and researches replacement parts for orderMust have own tools, hand and air3-5 years of relevant experience preferredMust complete required training as required per union/employer agreement or equivalent experience or trainingDemonstrated ability to diagnose, repair and understand all types of rolling stockMust be able to demonstrate ability to fight fires at incipient phase
