Automotive Technician A Level or B+ Level $30•55/hr

Monday-Friday, 8:00 am•5:00 pm
Pay Rate:
$30•55 per flagged hour, based on technician level and experience PLUS Production Bonuses!

50 per week We are seeking an A Level or strong B+ Level Automotive Technician in Grantville, PA. A Level candidates should bring advanced diagnostic capabilities, while B+ Level candidates should have moderate diagnostic skills and be comfortable handling substantial repair work independently. This all-makes-and-models shop offers a Monday-Friday schedule, climate-controlled facility, modern diagnostic equipment, steady vehicle volume, and additional production incentives. Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns using professional diagnostic equipment Perform engine and transmission removal and replacement Diagnose CAN bus and vehicle communication network concerns Use oscilloscopes, scan tools, and related diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues Complete repairs accurately with a strong focus on quality and minimizing comebacks Work efficiently in a flat-rate environment and consistently turn productive hours Service and repair primarily domestic and Asian vehicles, with limited European vehicle work Document inspections and repair information using Tekmetric Qualifications Independent automotive repair shop experience Pennsylvania state inspection license(s) required A Level candidates: Advanced automotive diagnostic skills B+ Level candidates: Moderate automotive diagnostic skills with the ability to perform repairs independently Experience with engine and transmission removal and replacement Experience with CAN bus diagnostics, oscilloscopes, and automotive scan tools ASE certifications preferred Ability to produce quality work efficiently while maintaining a low comeback rate
Compensation & Benefits A Level Technician:
$40•55 per flagged hour, depending on experience B+
Level Technician:
$30•40 per flagged hour, depending on experience Typical production: 50 flagged hours per week Production bonus: additional $2.00 per flagged hour at 50+ flagged hours Production bonus: additional $5.00 per flagged hour at 60+ flagged hours Weekly pay Shop covers 75% of medical insurance, including family coverage 40 hours of PTO after 90 days 80 hours of PTO after one year Six major paid holidays after 90 days Uniform shirts provided $0.50 pay increase for each ASE certification passed $1.00 pay increase for each ASE L1 or L2 certification passed Toolbox relocation reimbursement after 90 days Why Work Here Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m•5:00 p.m., in a 9-bay, 9-lift shop with air conditioning and heat. The shop averages approximately 60 vehicles per week, and technicians have access to Launch, Snap-on, and Autel diagnostic equipment, a Hunter alignment rack, and Tekmetric for shop management and digital vehicle inspections. Tech Fix training is available, and the team hosts events throughout the year, including a Christmas party, pumpkin carving, and a Fourth of July event.
