Duties Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Write detailed and accurate service estimates using estimating tools and manual documentation Communicate effectively with technicians regarding vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and estimated completion time Manage cash handling transactions accurately while maintaining proper documentation Coordinate with parts stores/dealerships to ensure timely availability of necessary components for repairs Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business through excellent customer service Skills Proven experience in auto service management or dealership environments with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including transmissions, brakes, suspensions, air brakes, shocks & struts, oil changes, tire services, and diesel engine repairs Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure Pay will be determined upon exper and knowledge Join us as an Automotive Service Writer where your enthusiasm for cars combined with your exceptional customer service skills will make a real difference.
