Starting based on experience National Trailer Source is seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic / Aluminum Welder to join our Service team in Rose City, TX. We are looking for someone with strong aluminum welding and trailer repair experience who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys diagnosing, repairing, and fabricating trailer components. If you're experienced with horse trailers, livestock trailers, utility trailers, RVs, or similar equipment, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair horse, livestock, utility, and cargo trailers Perform aluminum and steel welding repairs and fabrication Fabricate custom trailer parts and modifications Install trailer accessories and upgrades Repair and replace trailer brake systems Troubleshoot and repair 12-volt electrical systems Repair suspension, axles, bearings, hubs, and running gear Install gooseneck hitches and truck accessories Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area What We're Looking For Required Aluminum welding experience MIG welding experience Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot trailer repairs Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable transportation Preferred TIG welding experience Steel welding experience Trailer repair experience Horse or livestock trailer experience RV repair experience Hydraulic, brake, and electrical troubleshooting experience Skills That Will Help You Stand Out Aluminum fabrication Trailer frame repair Axle replacement Suspension repair Brake systems Bearings and hubs Wiring 12-volt electrical systems Running gear Welding certification (preferred but not required) Why Join National Trailer Source?
