Job Description

Overview Brighton Resort is seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechanic with experience in small engine repair to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of resort vehicles and equipment, including snowmobiles, ATVs, utility vehicles, and other small engines. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and reliability. Ability to work in teams and solo to accomplish required tasks. Utilize an accessible library of services, manuals, parts manuals, supply catalogs, and other reference aids associated with the operation of a repair facility. Help maintain a comprehensive record system that tracks service, repair, and other needs associated with each vehicle. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Inspect, maintain, and repair small engine vehicles such as snowmobiles, ATVs, UTVs, and similar equipment. Perform routine preventative maintenance on vehicles and engines to ensure optimal performance and safety. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, recommending and carrying out effective repair solutions. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards in all maintenance work. Collaborate with the operations team to address urgent repairs and keep vehicles in service. Assist with repairs and maintenance on other resort vehicles and equipment as assigned. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge of all automotive systems, including engine, transmission, axle, brake, and electronics High school diploma or GED State and or other certifications are highly preferred but not required Valid driver's license Knowledge of diagnostic tools, repair techniques, and preventative maintenance practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proven experience as a mechanic with a strong background in small engine repair (snowmobiles, ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, or similar).
Qualifications:
Knowledge of all automotive systems, including engine, transmission, axle, brake, and electronics High school diploma or GED State and or other certifications are highly preferred but not required Valid driver s license Knowledge of diagnostic tools, repair techniques, and preventative maintenance practices.
