We are looking for an experienced GM technician who is excited to be part of a close team, teaching the next generation of technicians. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain vehicles by replacing or repairing mechanical components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic systems, including ADAS and automotive electrical systems. Conduct wheel alignments, wheel balancing, and other precision tasks to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently. Follow manufacturer guidelines for vehicle maintenance schedules and repair procedures to ensure quality workmanship. Communicate effectively with customers about repair needs, estimated timelines, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction. Experience Proven dealership experience or equivalent service technician experience in a fast-paced automotive environment. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles and diesel engines. Demonstrated ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical bulletins for complex repairs. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and tools for troubleshooting electrical systems and powertrain issues. Familiarity with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment equipment, and auto estimating software is preferred. Knowledge of transmissions, diesel engine repair, welding techniques, and general vehicle maintenance is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills combined with a commitment to delivering top-quality automotive service.
