This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants more than just a driving job. You'll be one of the first team members helping establish our reputation throughout the South Puget Sound. Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, hardworking CDL-certified Pump Truck Operator / Septic Service Technician to safely operate our vacuum truck while performing residential and commercial septic tank pumping services. The ideal candidate enjoys working independently, takes pride in customer service, maintains equipment with care, and is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. This position begins as part-time with the expectation of growing into a full-time career as business demand increases. Responsibilities Safely operate a CDL vacuum/pump truck. Pump residential and commercial septic tanks. Locate and uncover septic tank access lids when necessary. Inspect tanks for visible signs of damage or concern. Complete service reports and required documentation. Educate customers on basic septic system maintenance. Maintain cleanliness of the truck and equipment. Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks. Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety procedures. Respond professionally to customers and represent the company positively. Assist with other service-related tasks as needed. QualificationsRequired Valid Class A or Class B CDL (with air brake endorsement if applicable) Clean driving record Ability to lift 75+ pounds Comfortable working outdoors year-round Excellent customer service and communication skills Self-motivated with strong work ethic Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening Preferred Septic pumping experience Vacuum truck experience Construction, excavation, plumbing, utility, or wastewater experience Mechanical aptitude DOT medical card What We're Looking For We're not just hiring a driver—we're looking for someone who wants to grow with our company.
