Role at a Glance Join our manufacturing teams in Stoughton, Evansville, and Brodhead, Wisconsin as a hands-on Trailer Assembly Technician. This opportunity aligns with our Assembler I track and touches multiple stages of the trailer-building process. You'll put parts together, fasten components, take precise measurements, and help keep production moving safely and efficiently. A Day in This Role Build components and subassemblies to specification, using detailed blueprints, work instructions, and production documents. Position and secure parts with bolts, screws, rivets, and other fasteners to create solid, reliable assemblies. Operate a range of tools—drills, impact wrenches, rivet/Huck guns, grinders, sanders, routers, and more—to complete each stage. Drill through aluminum, steel, and wood; prep metal surfaces; and execute accurate measurement layouts from drawings. Verify quality at each step, maintain an orderly work area, and support a safe, productive line. Collaborate with teammates to hit daily production goals, arrive reliably, and work scheduled overtime when required (including some Fridays). What You Bring Background in manufacturing, production, construction, mechanical work, or assembly (preferred). Confidence with hand and power tools and comfort working at a steady production pace. Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math and measurements. Ability to read and understand blueprints—or motivation to learn and develop that skill. Mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and a quality-first mindset. Reliable attendance, clear communication, and a team-focused approach. Willingness to work Friday overtime as needed.
