Job Description
Job Summary
Trade traffic for trailheads, crowded cities for mountain views, and long commutes for a lifestyle people travel across the world to experience. Located beneath the Tetons and just minutes from Grand Targhee Resort, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone National Park, the Snake River, and Grand Teton National Park, Driggs, Idaho offers year-round adventure right outside your door. From skiing and snowmobiling in the winter to hiking, fishing, biking, and fly fishing in the summer, this is a place where work and lifestyle genuinely coexist.
And honestly, living in what we believe is the greatest place in the world only matters if you actually have time to enjoy it (we're a little biased). That's why we've built a company culture focused on balance — including a best-in-class PTO policy, limited forced overtime, employee housing assistance, and competitive compensation and benefits packages. We're committed to making sure our team has the opportunity to enjoy the community they help support every day.
Precision. Innovation. Teamwork.
At Teton Aviation, we know that reliable aircraft systems are essential to every safe and successful flight. We're looking for an Avionics Technician who is passionate about aircraft technology, takes pride in precision, and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.
As part of our team, you'll play a key role in growing and establishing our Maintenance and Avionics Department as a premier destination for aircraft maintenance, avionics installations, troubleshooting, and repair.
What You'll Be Doing
Performing a variety of avionics tasks on corporate and private aircraft
Working closely with Management to determine man-hour requirements and aircraft status.
Managing multiple moving pieces while keeping calm under pressure
Helping maintain a safe, organized, and secure environment throughout the facility
Supporting daily operations at our base location with occasional travel to support our customers' needs away from base
What Makes Someone Successful in This Role
You're naturally personable and value working in a customer service role
You can multitask without getting overwhelmed
You communicate clearly and confidently
You pay attention to details and follow through
You enjoy working as part of a team
You're adaptable — because aviation changes by the minute
You're comfortable learning new systems and processes
Requirements
