BASIC WORKER FUNCTION

\nThis role helps ensure Enstrom Helicopter products meet FAA certification rules. The Certification Engineer works on aircraft design changes, repairs, and safety updates while making sure everything follows FAA regulations.\n

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF

TASKS:

\nLead FAA certification work for helicopters and design changes.\nCreate certification plans and compliance documents.\nWork with FAA, DERs, and engineering teams.\nCheck engineering designs for FAA compliance.\nPrepare and approve reports, test plans, and safety documents.\nSupport aircraft safety and improvement projects.\nHelp engineers understand certification rules.\nReview and approve certification paperwork.\n

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

\nStrong understanding of FAA certification rules and processes.\nExperience working with aircraft certification projects.\nAbility to read and apply technical regulations.\nGood communication skills.\nStrong problem-solving and attention to detail.\nAbility to work independently and take responsibility for decisions.\n

QUALIFICATIONS

\nBachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace or Mechanical preferred).\n5+ years of aerospace engineering experience.\nExperience with FAA certification (Part 23/25/27/29).\nExperience working with FAA, DERs, or ODA organizations preferred.\nMaster's degree or DER experience is a plus.\n

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
