Full job description:

Cycle Sport is seeking an experienced bicycle mechanic to work in the store.

Responsibilities of the mechanic include:

Accurate assessment and estimation of incoming repairs Entering work orders into a point of sale system Conducting basic and advance repairs on a wide variety of bicycles Quick turnaround of walk-in repairs Completion of all scheduled repairs and tasks on time Maintaining a clean and organized shop area Assembling new bikes To qualify candidates will have: The ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis Excellent time management skills Competency in bicycle repair and maintenance Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers A desire and capacity to learn about the maintenance and repair of new bicycle technologies Commitment to exceptional customer service Availability to work weekends Individuals with prior bike shop experience as a bicycle mechanic are preferred for this position, however we are willing to train the right person.
