You'll perform safety checks, diagnostics, brake and gear adjustments, wheel truing, and component installs while educating customers on bike fit, features, and maintenance. Partner with sales teammates to recommend bikes, accessories, and services that elevate every ride. Responsibilities Provide expert bike assembly, tuning, and repair services to meet brand and safety standards Perform diagnostics, adjustments, wheel truing, brake and gear tuning, and component installations Educate customers on bike features, fit, and maintenance, delivering high-level in-store service Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop with proper tool care and inventory control Support sales floor teammates by recommending bikes, accessories, and services to drive revenue Follow company procedures for work orders, documentation, and service time estimates Adhere to all safety, compliance, and quality standards for bikes leaving the shop Assist with merchandising, receiving, and setting up bike displays as needed Participate in ongoing training to stay current on bike technologies and service techniques Contribute to a positive, team-focused culture aligned with performance and customer satisfaction goals Required Skills Bicycle assembly and pre-delivery inspection Brake and drivetrain adjustment and repair Wheel truing and tire/tube service Suspension setup and basic service Bike fitting fundamentals Use of bike-specific tools and torque wrenches Service documentation and work order management Customer service and product education Retail POS and add-on sales Safety inspections and quality control
