Job Description
Spider Mountain is looking for an enthusiastic employee to join our Mountain Operations Team here in Burnet, Texas. Besides being Texas' only ski lift, Spider Mountain is the only year-round lift serviced mountain biking located in North America. Located in Burnet, Texas, Spider Mountain is looking for a bike mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs to our rental bike fleet, assist guests with rental bike selections and to conduct both pre- and post-ride inspections to equipment. Work Environment and Scheduling:
- Spider Mountain operation days are Friday - Monday, year-round
- Part time and full time positions are available
- Saturdays and Sundays are expected
- Spring Break and winter holidays are expected
- 8-9 hour shifts are available
Job Requirements:
- Positive and professional attitude
- Willingness to learn
- Must be able to stand for extended hours
- Must be able to work outdoors for extended hours
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Competent in general bike mechanics a plus
- Basic computer and office skills
