Maintenance Technician Job Summary Seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role focuses on equipment reliability, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and reducing unplanned downtime. Experience working with metal stamping equipment and stamping presses is highly preferred. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues. Troubleshoot production machinery and respond to equipment breakdowns. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance inspections and complete necessary repairs. Support stamping presses and other automated manufacturing equipment. Identify recurring equipment problems and assist with root-cause corrective actions. Replace or repair motors, sensors, switches, valves, cylinders, wiring, bearings, and other machine components. Assist with equipment modifications, installations, and process improvement projects. Read and interpret electrical schematics, machine drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation. Use meters, testing equipment, and other diagnostic tools to identify equipment failures. Document maintenance work, repairs, downtime, and PM activity in the appropriate maintenance system. Work alongside production employees to safely restore equipment and maintain production flow. Support equipment setups, fixtures, control panels, and machine adjustments as needed. Maintain clean and organized work areas while following plant safety and 5S standards. Desired Background Industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. Metal stamping or stamping press troubleshooting experience strongly preferred. Solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities. Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. Ability to understand electrical schematics and equipment blueprints. Familiarity with industrial controls, motors, sensors, and automated equipment. Experience with cranes, rigging, or material-handling equipment is a plus. Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation and reporting. AutoCAD or drafting knowledge is helpful but not required. Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Ability to work additional hours or overtime based on production requirements. EVE1
