Part-time Pay:
$20 - $24 per hour, depending on experience What You'll Do Troubleshoot and repair guest room issues, including plumbing, electrical, fixtures, furniture, doors, locks, and appliances. Find and fix leaks from sinks, toilets, showers, roofs, and water heaters, and address water damage quickly to prevent bigger problems. Maintain and repair HVAC systems, including PTAC and wall units, thermostats, and filters, and perform routine preventive maintenance. Handle drywall patching, painting, caulking, grout, tile, and flooring touch-ups between guest stays. Respond promptly to work orders from the front desk and housekeeping to get rooms back in service fast. Perform preventive maintenance inspections on rooms, common areas, laundry equipment, and exterior lighting. Maintain the parking lot, landscaping, walkways, and exterior of the building. Keep the maintenance shop organized and track parts and supplies. Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for larger repairs. Follow safety procedures and help keep the property compliant with fire, health, and city codes. What We're Looking For At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel, motel, apartment complex, or similar setting. Solid working knowledge of plumbing, basic electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry. Ability to diagnose problems independently and prioritize urgent repairs. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions. Reliable, honest, and professional around guests. EPA 608 certification is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Valid driver's license preferred.
